Texas Aqua is now distributing this Eruption / LSS discus from Discus Global, a master breeder in Malaysia. Hand selecting by Kefeng from his family farm (Kefeng is Winson Lau's Son ). The Leopard Snake Skin Discus displays a captivating pattern that combines the beauty of leopard spots with the sleekness of a snake's skin. Its base coloration can range from light beige to pale yellow or cream, providing a stunning backdrop for the intricate markings. The body is adorned with irregularly shaped, dark spots that resemble leopard spots. In addition, these spots are connected by thin, sinuous lines, creating a snake-like pattern that runs along the body of the discus. The contrast between the spots and the snake-like lines gives the fish a truly unique and mesmerizing look. Similar to other discus fish, the Leopard Snake Skin Discus is relatively large. When fully mature, it can reach a diameter of around 6 to 8 inches (15 to 20 centimeters). However, growth rates and maximum sizes can vary depending on factors such as water quality, diet, and overall care.

Leopard Snake Skin Discus are omnivorous and require a balanced diet. They can be fed high-quality flakes, pellets, and granules specifically formulated for discus fish. Supplementing their diet with frozen or live foods such as bloodworms, brine shrimp, and daphnia is recommended to provide essential protein and nutrients. Offering a varied diet enhances their coloration and promotes their overall health.

The Leopard Snake Skin Discus is a highly desired fish variety due to its unique and captivating combination of leopard spots and snake-like patterns. Its peaceful nature, coupled with its remarkable appearance, makes it an excellent addition to well-maintained community aquariums or dedicated discus tanks. However, proper care, including suitable tank conditions, consistent water parameters, and a balanced diet, is necessary for their successful keeping and optimal health.
